Children’s Privacy
PickMD’s child-directed status and rules for users under 14 and their guardians.
1. Is PickMD directed to children?
Child-directed status: Not directed to children under 14. This must be decided from product positioning, age ratings, marketing, and the actual audience. PickMD must not claim a parental-consent mechanism until one is verified.
2. Children under 14
If PickMD is directed to children under 14 or actually handles their personal information, dedicated rules, clear guardian notice, required guardian consent, strict access limits, and protective measures must be in place first. Until then, the app should not actively collect children's personal information or be marketed specifically to children.
3. Guardian rights
Guardians may request access, copies, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or an end to processing. Because PickMD has no account system, guardians should also check local documents, export folders, Photos, and system backups on the child's device.
4. Guardian contact and deletion
